Horseback Riding

    One of our favorite things to do is go horseback riding. We would usually go to Land Between The Lakes to Wrangler Campground located in between the southwest end of KY and northwest end of TN We loved going there so we really didn't look for anywhere else to ride and it was a fairly short travel distance for us. They have everything from primitive campsites to big RV setups and even some little cabins that you can rent. There are miles and miles of trails to ride and more beautiful scenery than you could ever ask for. The costs are reasonable which is good if you know anything about having horses the cost means a lot. The main thing is to call them before you show up to see what the required health papers the state require you to have to ride there both for KY and TN because the trails are in both states and if you get caught by the wildlife officer without your papers you could be in for some hefty fines. So if you have horses or you can even rent one of theirs if you don't and you haven't been to Land Between The Lakes you don't know what your missing.
